The Huddle: What causes transition breakdowns like this? Someone not taking the initiative to pick someone up? The fact that one-on-one match ups for the point haven't been established?

Mike Whitaker: This was a particularly difficult transition for Sockeye as Bravo came down in a zone look and match ups were not established. Moreover, after the turnover, two Bravo cutters went to the center of the scoring area, leading defenders to cover that area. When one flared out to a "less dangerous" position, nobody went with him. Basically, he got lost and the lack of a mark led to an easy score.

Andrew Fleming: Sockeye loses its second break to a miscue in the shadow of its own goal. The Fish seem to be caught off-guard and fail to communicate with each other to make sure the matchups are covered, particularly those close to the disc.
