The Huddle

Frank Huguenard

of Cupertino, California

Hypothetically, imagine a UPA member who agrees with your main ideas. Your previous statements about this person are that they 'brainwashed', 'have no fundamentals', and 'ignorant'. You have a history of written and verbal abuse and attacks, or endless and illogical arguments, and of being generally very difficult to work with in any way (within the Ultimate community).

This voter wants to support you. If you are elected, how can you tell that voter that you will get anything done? In a Board of Directors meeting, do you expect to be able to discuss topics, make necessary compromises, and achieve any meaningful change?

Mr. Huguenard decided to address his voters via video. This video is posted for reader information about the candidate only. Views expressed are solely those of the speaker and do not reflect those of The Huddle. This video is under the sole control of Mr. Huguenard.

Note: Video runs 19 minutes and the audio is a tad quiet. Increasing your computer's volume will be necessary.

The Huddle's Take: This video seems little more than a visual synopsis of his RSD stances. Mr. Huguenard firmly believes he will implement his entire rule set to be in place for the 2009 College Series. Readers can watch the video for themselves and decide, but the editors stand by the claims made in the topic question (all having been verified, repeatedly, by multiple sources). In our estimation, Mr. Huguenard will use any votes he receives as evidence that he represents a large and silent voting bloc, and we strongly feel that 'joke votes' for this candidate are wasteful and, given low voter turnout in past elections, potentially disruptive as Mr. Huguenard would likely be a significant deterrent to useful UPA Board progress.
