2009 Mock Draft
This week we are going to bring you the results of our Mock Draft. We asked 10 Open Division "owners" and 5 Women's Division "owners" to participate in what amounts to an Ultimate version of Fantasy sports. We set up a draft where selections in a randomly selected order, snaking-board style.
Our owners in both divisions did a fantastic job. We have complete draft boards for your perusal, explanations from owners about their selections, and expert analysis from people in the know.
In judging these teams, we asked our owners and experts to imagine that there was going to be a mythical tournament this September where these teams would clash. Who would win? Given that, teams may not have wanted to draft players who are seriously injured, who have been retired for a few years, or who might be away from the game this year.
In this context then, judge for yourself who did the best job drafting and which team would win this imaginary tournament this September.
