College Development, Part I
Fall brings changing leaves, colder weather, and several thousand college rookies just learning the sport. Miraculously, many of these brand-new players go on to become, very quickly, able to play in important games. Anyone that has been involved with College Ultimate knows how exciting it can be to see a fresh face become a go-to player in less than nine months.
How does this happen? To find out, we've assembled a panel of players and coaches that really know their college ultimate. In this three-part mini-series, we'll explore aspects of the fall development process, and how you can help your college team improve as much and as quickly as possible.
Here's Part I, focusing on recruiting and initial skill-building practices. Enjoy!
