The Huddle

Introducing The Huddle Weblog

by Andy Lovseth

Today The Huddle inaugurates a new feature to the site: a weblog.

Our goal for this weblog is to explore ideas (smaller in scope than those in our magazine) encompassing Ultimate, from how to throw a forehand to how start a college program. We also will be covering current seasons and tournaments, and collecting photos and stories that define the sport of Ultimate and its community.

In the short term we will have coverage of the WFDF World Championships and the Colorado Cup, and in the long term we hope to bring you interviews, essays, and media of all kind.

We would also like to have your input. If you are competing and want to share results, a photographer with a couple of great shots, or if you’re a tournament director experimenting with formats or rules innovations, we’d love to hear about it. Email us at: info@the-huddle.org.

We have decided to extend and continue our policy of not having comments on the weblog. In the future we may revisit the policy, but for now we feel it best to be solely a content provider and not a community forum, and let you, the reader, discuss these topics and ideas on your own terms. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email us.

We have also provided a second RSS feed directly to the weblog, so that you can stay in the loop from your favorite newsreader.

So, as always, enjoy.
